A practice across art, architecture and craft.
Ghadeer Al-Taee's practice moved between sculpture and engraving, stained glass, mosaic, archaeological reproduction, heritage architecture and maquettes. Since 1993, his practice expanded outside Iraq and included works in Libya and Yemen, as well as large wall-based architectural works that became fixed parts of buildings. This range gave him practical knowledge of material, structure and detail, becoming a core part of how he makes his current work.
